‘Ello World; -- Jul 5, 2010

Well, this is the last week until I’m off to Indiana for a missions trip. This is exciting for many reasons:
1. SAJE! Youth Group! Reliving Winterfest!
2. Vacation. Trip. Getting away from this place for a week.
3. Helping people, of course.
4. I might actually get to meet Laur, for the first time!!! We live about, hmm… idk 8-12 hours apart, so as you can imagine it’s hard to just say, oh, let’s hang out… we’ll meet half way =p It’s just really ironic and funny that we happen to be vacationing really close to each other at the same time! OK, well, vacation is pushing it for me… because there won’t be much relaxing…

However, this means that next week (the 11^th-17^th) we’ll be on a mini hiatus seeing as I won’t have access to a computer and Laur won’t either… plus, even if she did, she isn’t much of the updating regularly sort =p Also, it means that this week I actually have something to do EVERY DAY, which I’m excited for! But, I don’t know how much I’ll get done then.

BUT, some good news… I did try my hand at icon base making… they’re not really the best, but I would use them… I also added some new icons.

Anywho, that’s what’s new for the week. Keep checking back, and we’ll keep adding stuff. Also, we HAVE added the twitter, which will get updated a lot more regularly then this, so you can always check that in the side bar… and we also added a C-BOX. Oh 100 degrees summer… yuck. Well, off to go add more content and then work =p

Oopsies. -- Jun 29, 2010

Alright, well, we kind of have been a little dead lately, haven’t we? Hmm… there just hasn’t been much to update.

I am really sorry to say, that we actually CAN’T host sites, because our host is switching over and we won’t be able to host anyone now… new rules =/ Can’t say that I’m a fan of that, but she has her reasons, and I will oblige by her and her rules. So, I am sorry to those of you who applied… I would very much have liked to accept you, I just can’t.

I’m thinking about getting a twitter for RaveShock. Both Laur and I have one, and yeah… that’s about all. I actually have been craving to make more layouts lately, I just don’t have any inspiration… so maybe I’ll just go at it it. I just hope that people are using what we make. If you could comment or something to let me know? Hmm… maybe I should add a c-box/tagboard or something so people can contact other than just posting on the blog… update or whatever you may have it.

You know what? I’m thinking we could use another person to help out around here. If you’re interested, let me know… hmphh.

PAPER -- May 28, 2010

So, in case you haven’t noticed the site’s new theme… it would be paper. I suppose it all came about in Computer Art when I finished my project a week or 2 early and had nothing to do. I decided to do a tutorial for making paper text, and that was how this layout was born. I made it in Illustrator CS4 which is a nice change of pace from my usual Gimp creations =p The problem is not getting the programs, which I have, it’s having enough RAM on my ancient computer… and I have multiple ancient computers. Anyway, enough of that sob story.

We’ve also added Altador layouts and graphics… or are in the process of adding that. I know that’s pretty big with all you neopets people, so here is as good as place as any to get your Altador paraphernalia. Actually, all we have right now is Maraqua (because that’s my team =p)

I know we’ve had hosting and tutorials up since this site opened and there is nothing on the page, but I have been working on it. We’re almost ready to host people, but for some reason the ftp folder won’t show up on my computer =/ It works though, because it shows up on Ben’s computer (and for those of you who don’t know, Ben is my computer nerd techy… bahaha. We help each other out with random coding questions and problems… he’s saved my butt a few times.) But alright, off to make more Altador layouts. Oh, and there is a new pet page style which is quite simple, but I really like it. Enjoy.
